Oak
Timber x Daddy Sang Base
WDA 1.76 BF .6 LEA 10.2
We named this Grand Champion Berkshire Boar Oak because he is stamped like an Oak Tree. He is solid, functional, and massive as any Berkshire boar we have seen. Not only does he phenotypically possess all of the attributes we are looking for as far as bone, soundness and rib shape, but he has the actual performance data to back up his stout features. Oak had a weight per day of age of 1.76, along with a 10.2 inch loin eye. These are figures that are extremely hard to come by for any breed. We believe that Oak will sire very competitive show barrows and breeding gilts, as well as boar prospects.
