| It is an end of Era at Shaffer's Goldrush. On Saturday, November 19th, 2011 Kodiak passed away. He was born January 5, 2005, he was just shy of his 7th Birthday. Kodiak has undoubtebly been the most popular boar of any breed in Shaffer's Goldrush history. He has stood the test time, generating Champion, after Champion over the years. His name can be found on thousands of pedigrees across the country, he has been multiple Premier and Reserve Premier Sire, and has produced some of the breeds best replacement females. It was a sad day here at Goldrush, but his legacy will go on! |
