We are excited to announce that in 2012 we will be offering an Award Program for all youth participating in National, State, District, and County Shows.  If you show a pig, it wins and is sired by a Goldrush Boar, let us know and we will reward you for your hard work and dedication to the project! 

Fill out the Shaffer’s Goldrush Award Program Application form and mail it back to us within 60 days of the show. 

Awards
You are eligible to receive an award from your category or choose an award in the category below.  You are only eligible for 1 prize per pig at a show.  If you receive multiple awards, we have a right to combine them into one prize.   

Grand Champion or Reserve Grand Champion Overall at a National or State Show
  --Personalized Shaffer’s Goldrush Jacket

Breed Champion or Reserve Breed Champion at a National or State Show
  --Personalized Shaffer’s Goldrush Chair

Grand Champion or Reserve Champion Overall at County, Parrish, & District Shows
  --Shaffer’s Goldrush Feeder, Bucket, or Spray Bottle (prize awarded is based on availability)

*Note if prize is not available upon request, we have a right to substitute prize with a prize of equal value.* 

To be Eligible for an Award

1. Must be sired by a Goldrush Boar that is standing in the stud.  This can be done from purchasing a show pig, bred gilt, or semen.
2. Show at a National, State, District, or County Show and is exhibited by a junior member showing in the 4-H or FFA division.
3. National & State Overall Grand Champion & Reserve Grand Champion are eligible to receive a personalized jacket.  Breed Champions & Reserve Breed Champions at National & State shows are eligible to receive a personalized chair.  Grand Champion & Reserve Grand Champion Overall at District and County shows are eligible to receive a feeder, bucket or spray bottle.
4. To be eligible for award, the show must a youth or junior show.  National Shows through NJSA and Team Purebred, State Fairs, State Shows, District Shows, and County 4-H and FFA show apply.  Jackpot, prospect, and open shows do not qualify.
5. A picture of the champion must accompany entry form.  An emailed picture is encouraged, but mailed pictures are also acceptable.  All purebred pigs must supply registration number of pig or copy of pedigree.  All crossbreds must include the origin of the pig.  (If purchased semen, when and who purchased.  For show pigs who you purchased show pig off of with phone number.)

Shaffer’s Goldrush has permission to use pictures and names provided (both exhibitor, breeder, and other relevant names) for advertisement purposes of any kind.  Information may be displayed but not limited to our website, www.shaffergoldrush.com, the Shaffer’s Goldrush facebook page, websites we advertise on, catalog/magazine advertisement, our sire catalog, other promotional materials, at events such as our Customer Appreciation Sale, Open House, Shows, and Trade Shows, and future advertising.
